Product Overview
The TP-390 is a small circuit board adapter, not a circuit board itself. It is used whenever a failed control board on an older unit is being swapped for a current TP-351A or TP-78D board, and the heater's original wiring harness terminates in the older TP-78B-style connector that the new board does not accept directly. The adapter bridges that connector mismatch: the original harness plugs into one end of the TP-390, and the new TP-351A or TP-78D board plugs into the other, so the factory wiring can be reused without rewiring the burner control box.
Fits the DBS, DX, and DRV low-intensity tube heater families that use a TP-78B-style harness. See Fitment below for the full model list.
Ships alone as a connector piece and is sold separately from the replacement board.
Replacing this part: confirm from the installation sheet whether the specific model and harness need the TP-390 adapter before ordering. Shut off gas and disconnect electrical power to the heater before opening the burner control box. Installation must be performed by a qualified service person; improper installation, adjustment, or service can cause property damage, injury, or death. Full step-by-step instructions are in the circuit board replacement instruction sheet.
