Product Overview
The TP-205 is a Glo-Bar holder that mounts and secures the silicon carbide glo-bar ignitor within the burner assembly of Re-Verber-Ray low-intensity radiant tube heaters. The holder locks the glo-bar ignitor in fixed alignment with the burner orifice inside the combustion tube, letting the ignitor reach ignition temperature in the right position to light the gas stream reliably on every call for heat. A cracked, warped, or loose holder lets the glo-bar drift out of position, which shows up as delayed ignition, misfire, or repeat lockouts.
It fits all Re-Verber-Ray tube heater series except the DES3 and DET3, including the CL3, CX3, DSRF, DSRL, DSRS, DST, DX2, DX3L, HL2, HL3, LD3, LS3, and MP3 series; see the Fitment panel below for the full model list. It is also catalogued under part numbers 6043833 and 24KT48.
It ships as a single holder bracket.
When replacing this part, shut off the gas supply and disconnect power to the heater, and let the burner assembly cool before opening it up. Match the replacement holder to the original in bracket shape and mounting-hole spacing before reinstalling the glo-bar ignitor, then have a qualified technician confirm ignition operation and check for gas leaks before returning the unit to service.
