Product Overview
The TP-3055 is a two-prong spark igniter electrode built for Re-Verber-Ray direct spark ignition (DSI) tube heater burners. During startup, the DSI control energizes the electrode, which arcs across its two prongs to light the burner. A weak, fouled, or physically damaged electrode is a common cause of ignition lockouts, delayed light-off, and nuisance flame failures.
It fits the Re-Verber-Ray DES3 and DET3 tube heater series; see Fitment below for full model coverage.
It ships as a single electrode assembly, ready to install in place of a worn, cracked, or misfiring unit.
Before servicing, shut off the gas supply, disconnect electrical power to the unit, swap in the new electrode, and have a qualified technician verify proper spark and flame sensing before returning the heater to service. Reference the DES3 series manual or the DET3 series manual for the exact mounting location and wiring on your unit.
