TP-36NKIT Gas Valve Update Kit

The TP-36NKIT is a natural gas update kit that replaces a faulty TP-36 (WR 25K) valve assembly on Re-Verber-Ray tube heaters. Installing the kit moves gas valve and ignition control onto the TP-78D circuit board and wire harness. The external TP-33 regulator is removed and is no longer used, and the radiant sensor's electrical connection is disconnected, since flame sensing now runs through the new circuit board rather than the external sensor; the sensor itself stays in the tube and is not removed.

The kit fits Re-Verber-Ray DTH and DTHS natural gas tube heaters, replacing the discontinued TP-36 (WR 25K) valve; see Fitment below for the full model list.

The kit ships complete with the TP-107 natural gas valve (VR-1324 @ 3.5"), a TP-78D circuit board, a TP-78B wire harness, and the TP-390 circuit board-to-harness adaptor, so nothing else needs to be sourced to complete the swap.

This kit is a natural gas update only and is not for gas conversion. Before beginning work, shut off the gas supply to the heater and open the electrical circuit. Follow the installation sheet's wiring diagram and confirm the polarity of the burner box connection, since reversed polarity can cause the loss of flame sense. Installation must be performed by a qualified service person; improper installation, adjustment, service, or maintenance can cause property damage, injury, or death.
