Product Overview
The Re-Verber-Ray TP-551 Channel DSI Circuit Board is a direct spark ignition control module. It manages the direct spark ignition (DSI) sequence for the heater: it opens the gas valve on a call for heat, times the trial-for-ignition, monitors flame sense, and shuts the burner down safely on an ignition or flame-loss fault.
It fits the DET, DES, and RH series tube heaters; see Fitment below for the specific models. It is also cataloged as the alternate number Micro 50X-117.
It ships as a stand-alone board for 120V systems.
Replacing this part: when replacing this board, shut off the gas supply and disconnect power to the heater before beginning work, then verify wiring against the unit's installation sheet and have a qualified technician confirm burner operation before returning the heater to service.
