The 240000622 is a Heat/Off/Cool rocker switch built in a DPDT configuration, also referred to as the System Selector Switch.
Supplied as a standalone replacement switch for RetroAire units without a printed circuit board. See the Fitment panel for the full list of applicable units.
On the control panel, this switch is what lets the operator select between Heat, Off, and Cool modes. Its DPDT contacts route power to the correct heating or cooling circuit for whichever mode is selected.
Replacing this switch is a panel-level swap. Disconnect electrical power before removing the old switch, match wiring terminals one for one against the original, and confirm the panel cutout fits the DPDT rocker body. Disconnect power and have a qualified technician verify correct heat/cool operation after installation.
