TP-264F Differential Pressure Switch

The Re-Verber-Ray TP-264F is a normally open differential pressure switch, the current Re-Verber-Ray / Detroit Radiant Products part number for this application, also listed under alternate number IS22035051F5132 / IS2F5132. It is an air-pressure-proving safety switch used in the burner or valve compartment of Re-Verber-Ray gas-fired tube heaters. Connected through its vinyl sensing tube and brass barb, it senses differential air pressure across the combustion air path; once the exhauster or blower establishes proper draft, the normally open contacts close on the COM and N.O. terminals to allow the gas valve to fire. Without proper draft pressure, the switch keeps the burner locked out.

It is a direct substitute for the earlier TP-1061A and TP-1064B switches, both discontinued. It fits a wide range of Re-Verber-Ray tube heater series, including HL2, DX2, XTS, DET, DES, LS, LD, RH, SV and HLV; see Fitment below for exact model and BTU pairings.

The switch is supplied with a sensing hose and brass barb fitting.

On dual-switch LD/LS models, transfer both brass barbs and the vinyl sensing tube per the original routing; on single-switch HL2/DX2/XTS/DET/DES/SV/HLV models, reconnect the sensing tube to the barb marked (-). As with all gas-heating parts, shut off the gas supply and disconnect power before servicing, verify wiring and hose routing against the installation sheet, and have a qualified technician confirm draft proving before returning the heater to service.
