Product Overview
The 240007903 is a RetroAire OEM control board built for unit-mount (UM) or 24-volt remote (RMT) thermostat setups on RetroAire packaged air conditioning and heat pump equipment. The same board is cataloged across the ECR International family of brands under several numbers: it is also sold as AS4003, EMI240007903, and 237284. If the data plate or an old parts list shows one of these numbers instead of 240007903, this is the correct board. As the unit's control board, it manages compressor staging and blower operation and, on remote-mount setups, handles the 24V thermostat interface, translating thermostat calls into the relay and contactor signals the heating and cooling sections need to run.
Fits the RetroAire VPRC/VPRH vertical packaged units (09 through 36 series) and the RQTH 1.5 and 2-ton vertical packaged terminal heat pump line; see Fitment below for the full model list.
Ships as a stand-alone replacement board that wires into the unit's existing control harness.
Shut off power to the unit at the disconnect before opening the control compartment, and check the new board's wiring against the unit's original harness and the service parts manual before restoring power.
