Product Overview
The AIR-EX Air Intake Extension with Cap is a duct extension and weather cap kit for Re-Verber-Ray DSR and DST series patio heaters. It extends the heater's air intake duct out past the mounting enclosure or cabinet wall and caps the open end against wind-driven rain and debris, so the burner draws combustion air from open outside space rather than a confined cavity.
Fits the Re-Verber-Ray DSR and DST series patio heaters only; it is not compatible with the DSC, DSCS, or DSCD series. See the Fitment panel below for the full list.
Ships as a single assembly, ready to fit onto the heater's combustion air inlet.
When replacing this part, shut off the gas supply and disconnect power to the heater before removing the old intake extension, and confirm the new assembly seats and seals the same way the original did. Have a qualified technician verify proper combustion air flow and heater operation before returning the unit to service.
