RTVP-6 Roof Vent Penetration Package with Cap

The RTVP-6 is Re-Verber-Ray's complete 6-inch rooftop vent penetration package for common-venting a low intensity tube heater straight up through the roof. It lets the heater's exhaust common-vent vertically through the roof instead of terminating through a sidewall, running double-wall B-vent from the heater up through the firestop spacer, the B-to-C adapter, and the adjustable flashing before exiting through the vent cap. The adjustable rooftop flashing accommodates varying roof pitches, and the RTV-106 sealant with the storm collar keep the roof penetration weathertight.

It fits Re-Verber-Ray's low intensity tube heater line, including the CL3, CX3, DXSB, DXSS, HLSB, HLSS, and SV/SSV series, and is the correct rooftop package for the FA-150 through FA-400 when common venting two heaters; see Fitment below for the full list.

The kit ships with a B-to-C adapter (DHC-6), an adjustable rooftop flashing (ARF-6), a 6-inch vent cap (RVC-6), a 6-inch firestop spacer (FS-6), a 6-inch storm collar (SC-6), a vent elbow (VE-6), a vent tee (VT-6), and RTV-106 high-temperature sealant. Six-inch B-vent (BVP-8 or 18BV-6) and any single-wall C-vent or dual exhaust assembly are not included and must be ordered separately.

When replacing a rooftop vent kit, shut off the gas supply and disconnect power to the heater before disturbing any vent connection, and verify the finished installation against the RTVP-6 installation sheet before returning the heater to service; venting work should be confirmed by a qualified technician.
