Product Overview
The CKP-53-6 is a factory-supplied field conversion kit for the Re-Verber-Ray FA-150 gas-fired unit heater. It swaps the burner orifice and gas valve setup needed to run the heater on propane instead of natural gas. In the heater, the kit's orifice and regulator components resize the gas metering for propane's higher energy content and different supply pressure, keeping the burner's air-fuel ratio and BTU input on spec after the fuel change. Installed correctly, the heater runs on propane the same as a factory-propane unit, with no combustion tuning beyond the stock adjustment procedure required.

It ships as a complete conversion package matched to the FA-150's factory gas train, so the technician isn't sourcing individual orifices or fittings separately.
This is a one-time conversion kit, not a routine wear part; if a heater was already converted with a prior kit, cross-check the existing orifice numbers before ordering a duplicate. Any gas-path work requires shutting off the gas supply and disconnecting power to the unit first, and a qualified gas technician should verify burner operation against the installation manual after the swap.
