Product Overview
The DR-LROD is a 17-3/8" stainless steel rod for the DR-RH rayhead assembly on Re-Verber-Ray DR Series high-intensity heaters. In the heater, these rods make up the rayhead grid that the burner fires across, radiating the infrared heat the DR Series is built to produce. Worn, warped, or missing rods reduce even heat distribution across the rayhead and shorten burner life.
Fits the DR-RH rayhead assembly used across the Re-Verber-Ray DR Series (DR30 through DR160); see Fitment below for the full list. It replaces the earlier part number GA10-43 and is also cross-referenced under alternate numbers 1009307 and 24KR71, which identify the same part across catalogs and are useful when matching an old rod pulled from the unit.
It ships individually, not as a kit. A full rayhead calls for 9 long rods for optimal performance; on the rayhead nearest the ignitor, use 8 long rods and 1 short rod (DR-SROD) instead.
Replacing these rods: shut off gas to the heater and disconnect electrical power before opening the rayhead assembly. Replace in full sets per rayhead as noted above, not as single-rod spot fixes, and verify rod count and placement against the DR Series installation manual. Have a qualified gas technician confirm proper burner operation before returning the heater to service.
