Product Overview
The UEi EPC Everyday Professional Clamp Meter is a True-RMS clamp meter built to handle the core electrical and diagnostic tests HVAC/R technicians run every day.
The EPC reads AC/DC volts, LRA inrush, temperature, capacitance, duty cycle, AC amps, DC microamps, frequency, non-contact voltage, resistance, continuity, and diode, rated for 400A AC jaw current, 750V AC/1000V DC, 40MΩ resistance, and 4,000µF capacitance, with a temperature range of -328°F to 2462°F via the K-Type input. It ships in a redesigned, larger padded case with room to leave test leads plugged in, plus a full lead set: silicone test leads, threaded alligator clips, threaded back probes, and a K-Type thermocouple.
The EPC connects wirelessly to the free UEi HUB app for live readings, graphing, logging, and emailing results straight from the meter. An ergonomic overmolded grip, backlit dual display, built-in test lead storage, and a magnetic hanger strap keep it fast to use in the field. It suits any HVAC/R technician who needs one meter to cover voltage, amperage, temperature, and continuity checks on residential and light commercial equipment without swapping tools. Safety rating is CAT IV 600V/CAT III 1000V at 400A, with IP42 ingress protection, and the EPC is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
