TP-3050 Hot Surface Igniter

The Re-Verber-Ray TP-3050 is a hot surface igniter used in the Re-Verber-Ray LS3 and LD3 tube heater series. It is the ignition source in the heater's burner sequence: on a call for heat, the control energizes the igniter element, which heats to ignition temperature and lights the burner directly, or in some sequences also serves as a flame sensor once the burner is lit. It is a wear item that fails open or cracks with age and thermal cycling, which shows up as a no-ignition or ignition-lockout fault at the heater.

Re-Verber-Ray lists the TP-3050 as the current equivalent to the earlier TP-50A, so it is the correct replacement part when an older unit calls for that number. It fits the LS3 and LD3 tube heater families; see Fitment below for the full model list.

Ship method is UPS or USPS, consistent with a small electrical component.

Match wiring and mounting to the existing igniter before removing it, and confirm the replacement seats in the same holder/bracket position the old TP-50A or TP-3050 occupied. As with all gas-heating parts: shut off the gas supply and disconnect power before servicing, verify wiring against the series installation manual, and have a qualified technician confirm ignition operation after replacement.
