TP-5 Flange Gasket

The TP-5 is a flange gasket used at the burner tube flange connection on Re-Verber-Ray tube heaters. At the flange, it forms the seal between the burner tube and the heater's gas train, preventing gas and combustion byproducts from leaking past the joint. A gasket that has lost its compression or developed cracks is a common source of a flange leak, and it is a low-cost, routine service item to swap during any burner tube service. Order it to replace the original gasket when it has hardened, cracked, or is no longer sealing cleanly at that joint.

Ships as a single gasket, sized to seat between the burner tube flange and its mating surface.

Replacing this part: shut off the gas supply and disconnect power to the heater before removing the old gasket. Clean the flange mating surfaces of any old gasket material before seating the new TP-5. A qualified technician should verify the joint is sealed and the heater operates correctly before returning it to service.
