Product Overview
The Re-Verber-Ray TP-65I is a 36 in. (3 ft.) x 4 in. interlocking turbulator baffle section that installs inside a tube heater's combustion tube. Inside the tube, its interlocking fins disrupt and redirect the combustion gas flow, increasing turbulence and dwell time against the tube wall. That added turbulence pulls more heat out of the combustion gas before it exits the tube, which is what lets the heater run at its rated efficiency.
The TP-65I fits a wide range of Re-Verber-Ray tube heater series, including the CL3, CX3, DX2, DX3L, HL2, HL3, and DSRL families; see the Fitment panel below for the full model list. It is the direct replacement for the earlier TP-65 (A-D) baffle, also cross-referenced under alternate part numbers 6036767 and 24KT45. The number of baffle sections required varies with the length and BTU rating of the heater.
The TP-65I ships as a single baffle section.
Replacing a turbulator baffle is straightforward but is still gas-path work: shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power to the heater before opening the combustion tube, install the new section in the orientation shown for your unit, and have a qualified technician verify burner operation and combustion after reassembly.
