Product Overview
The Q313A-1014 is a pilot flame detector and powerpile assembly for Re-Verber-Ray NMV-2 and PMV-2 millivolt (MV) pilot systems, natural gas or propane. The powerpile sits in the pilot flame and generates a small millivolt DC current as long as the pilot stays lit, and that current holds the main gas valve open with no external electrical supply needed. If the pilot flame goes out, the millivolt output drops and the valve closes, cutting gas to the burner.

Ships as a complete replacement assembly, ready to install in place of the existing unit.
Replacing this part: shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power before removing the old assembly. This is a gas-path component, so replacement should be done by a qualified technician, who should verify pilot ignition and gas valve operation before returning the heater to service.
