TP-211A Micro 60U-24 Circuit Board

The TP-211A is the Micro 60U-24 ignition control circuit board for Re-Verber-Ray low-intensity tube heaters, operating at 24V with flame rod remote-sense supervision. The board runs ignition sequencing and flame supervision for the burner: it powers the Glo-Bar ignitor (TP-50A) through the Glo-Bar wire harness (TP-214) and monitors the flame rod (TP-222) via remote sense to confirm flame presence after ignition. Proper earth grounding and correct polarity at the board are essential; without a positive earth ground, the board cannot detect the flame signal and will lock out the burner.

Detroit Radiant Products also lists this board under alternate part numbers 2021-109 and 6068489, the same board under different catalog numbers. This is a revised board design relative to earlier circuit boards: the two separate ground terminals on earlier boards must be consolidated into the TP-211A's single ground terminal, and the older APS1 and APS2 terminals are gone entirely, so the wire previously on APS1 must be jumped to the 24V terminal when retrofitting from an older board.

Replacing this part: disconnect electrical supply voltage, remove the burner box cover, then disconnect wiring from the old circuit board and remove it. Install the TP-211A, reconnect all wiring, consolidate both grounds into the single terminal, and jump any old APS1 wire to the 24V terminal. Restore power and cycle the heater to verify operation; check wiring if the heater malfunctions. Replaced or converted circuit boards are not returnable for credit. Only trained, qualified gas installation and service personnel should perform this work; improper installation, adjustment, or service can cause property damage, serious injury, or death. Verify every step against the TP-211A installation sheet (LSH092) before returning the heater to service.
