The TP-264D is a normally open differential pressure switch assembly for Re-Verber-Ray low-intensity tube heaters, factory set at .20 in. w.c. It monitors differential air pressure in the burner circuit to verify that the inducer fan is operating and combustion air is flowing before the gas valve is permitted to open. The normally open contacts close when differential pressure reaches the .20 in. w.c. set point, completing the ignition control circuit. If airflow drops below threshold, the contacts open and interrupt the burner, protecting against incomplete combustion or unsafe operation.
The IS2F5170 switch element (also catalogued as IS22020051F5170) cross-references to the Cleveland Controls NS2-1068-01. Electrical ratings taken from the NS2 datasheet (1/10 HP at 120-277 VAC; 5 A resistive) come from the OEM cross-reference, not a Re-Verber-Ray specification sheet; confirm against the specific installation before relying on them.
The switch is a direct substitution for the TP-61D (PPS10069-2551) and DB-218 pressure switches. It fits a wide range of Re-Verber-Ray low-intensity tube heater series from 30 to 175 MBH, including HL2, DX2, HL3, DX3L, CL3, CX3, XTS3, MP3, and many others; see the Fitment panel for the complete model list.
The kit includes the IS2 pressure switch (IS2F5170 / IS22020051F5170), a 20-inch vinyl sensing tube, and insect-resistant brass barbs (quantity varies by configuration).
To replace this switch, shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power before opening the control box. Remove the faulty switch from the valve compartment, connect the new barbs to the sensing tube(s) per the polarity markings (+ to valve compartment, - to atmospheric barb), and confirm smooth vinyl tube routing with no kinks or sharp bends. Reconnect spade terminals to COM and N.O. Gas-appliance service must be performed by a qualified technician who verifies safe operation after installation.
