Product Overview
The 4000-01V is a 40 VA transformer built for Re-Verber-Ray DSC series patio heaters. It steps incoming line voltage down to 24 VAC to run the heater's ignition and control circuit and is rated to connect 1 or 2 heaters from a single transformer. In the heater, it isolates the low-voltage control side, spark ignition, gas valve, and safety switches, from line voltage and delivers the steady 24 VAC those components need to operate correctly.
Fits the Re-Verber-Ray DSC series patio heaters, including the DSCS single-stage and DSCD dual-stage models; see Fitment below for the full model list.
When replacing this transformer, shut off gas to the heater, disconnect electrical power at the source, and match the new unit's wiring against the heater's installation sheet before reconnecting. Have a qualified technician verify ignition and control operation once the new transformer is installed.
