Product Overview
The 6-DSK is Re-Verber-Ray's 6 inch Duravent sidewall vent kit, supplying the hardware needed to vent a low intensity tube heater straight out a sidewall instead of up through the roof. On the heater, it routes combustion exhaust from the unit's draft hood out through the sidewall; it is not rated for roof venting applications.
It fits Re-Verber-Ray's low intensity tube heater lineup, with confirmed submittal callouts on the CL3, CX3, DXSB, DXSS, HLSB, HLSS, and SV series, and manufacturer submittal documentation lists it as required hardware on any installation using common sidewall venting. For tube heaters, this kit is used when two heaters are common vented, and it is the correct kit for the FA-150 through FA-400. See the Fitment panel below for the full model list.
The kit covers all items needed for sidewall venting, including the SWD-6, WT-6, 18BV-6, and DHC-6 components, and assembles to 30 inches overall length. Vent pipe material itself is not included and must be ordered separately to reach the wall.
When installing or replacing a sidewall vent kit, shut off the gas supply and disconnect power to the heater before removing any vent components, and verify the new kit against the heater's installation sheet. Have a qualified technician confirm proper draft and operation before returning the unit to service.
