Product Overview
The DB-DSK is a complete 3 in. sidewall venting kit that vents combustion byproducts from a single heater out through an exterior sidewall. The DB-211 adapter steps the heater's B-vent connection down to single-wall 3 in. pipe, the DB-210 thimble carries that pipe through the wall opening, and the DB-208 cap with flapper terminates the run outside while maintaining proper static pressure for the unit.
The kit fits Re-Verber-Ray LS3 and LD3 series tube heaters and UH-30/UH-45 unit heaters requiring single sidewall venting, for a venting run of roughly 6 to 9 ft. See Fitment below for the full model list.
As shipped, the kit is 30 in. in length when fully assembled and includes 1 DB-208 sidewall vent cap with flapper, 1 DB-209 double-wall B-vent section, 1 DB-210 wall thimble, 1 DB-211 B-to-C adapter, 3 DB-213 single-wall vent pipe sections, and 1 tube of RTV-106 high-temperature sealant.
When replacing an existing sidewall vent kit, match the vent diameter and run length to the heater series before ordering. Shut off gas and disconnect power to the heater before beginning any venting work. Slope the vent pipe down 1/4 in. per foot toward the outlet, keep the termination at least 36 in. below or beyond any combustible overhang, and seal single-wall joints with high-temperature sealant and sheet metal screws per the installation sheet. Verify the completed installation against the installation sheet and have a qualified technician confirm proper unit operation.
