Product Overview
The DB-BVP is a 3 in. diameter, 60 in. long double-wall Type B gas vent pipe section built with a .012 in. aluminum inner wall and a .018 in. galvanized steel outer wall. It carries combustion byproducts from a single-vented gas-fired appliance to the outdoors while holding the 1 in. air-space clearance to combustibles that Type B venting requires; the double-wall aluminum-over-galvanized construction keeps the outer surface within safe clearance limits while the inner wall handles flue gas temperatures.
It fits Re-Verber-Ray LS, LD, DBS, LS3, LD3, UH-30, and UH-45 series heaters that call for single 3 in. vent pipe. See Fitment below for the full list.
Ships as a single rigid length fitted with the DuraLock and DuraTab locking joints for tool-free assembly to adjoining vent sections.
When replacing a section of B-vent pipe, shut off the gas supply and disconnect power to the appliance first, match the 3 in. diameter and DuraLock/DuraTab joint style exactly, and have a qualified technician verify draft and operation after reassembly.
