DSI SUB KIT-24V Direct Spark Ignition Conversion Kit

The DSI SUB KIT-24V is a 24V direct spark ignition conversion kit for older pilot-ignition Re-Verber-Ray high intensity heaters. It converts the heater's ignition from a standing pilot to direct spark: the Mark 10DX-24 board fires the 32-508 electrode directly on a call for heat, eliminating the pilot flame that needs relighting and the pilot gas line that needs maintaining.

It fits the N/NE, NSP/NSPI, NFS/PFS, PSPI-9, NGCI-3, NMV/PMV, and DR 30/DR 60-160 high intensity heater lines; see Fitment below for the full model list. It replaces the heater's original standing-pilot burner, pilot gas tubing, and pilot ignition hardware entirely.

The kit ships complete: Mark 10DX-24 circuit board, DRWH-24 wiring harness, HVW-18 high-voltage spark wire, 32-508 3-prong spark electrode, electrode mounting bracket, pilot plug, junction box top and bottom, and mounting screws.

Replacing this part: shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power to the heater before starting, remove the old pilot burner and gas tubing, then mount the control box and electrode and wire per the installation sheet for the heater's voltage. Set the electrode spark gap to 1/8" to 3/16" during installation. On NMV and PMV models the gas valve is not compatible with this kit and must also be replaced.
