Product Overview
The DSI Sub Kit 120V is Re-Verber-Ray's factory direct spark ignition conversion kit for 120V high-intensity heaters. It converts a pilot-ignition burner to direct spark ignition: the MARK 10DX-117 control board fires the 32-508 electrode directly at the burner on a call for heat, eliminating the standing pilot and its valve and tubing.
It fits Re-Verber-Ray N, NE, NSP, NFS, PFS, NGCI-3, NWRI, and PWRI series 120V high-intensity heaters; see Fitment below for the full model list. Gas valves on NMV and PMV models are not compatible with this kit and must be replaced separately. The kit replaces the discontinued G05-14 and GO5-141 ignition kits. Re-Verber-Ray also lists this kit under part numbers 2986727 and 24KT18; these are manufacturer-issued equivalents, not third-party OEM cross-references, so confirm the heater's existing ignition components against the installation sheet before ordering a conversion.
The kit ships complete: MARK 10DX-117 circuit board, DRWH-120 wiring harness, HVW-18 high-voltage spark wire, 32-508 three-prong spark electrode, DR-EMB electrode mounting bracket, DR-PP pilot plug, PJBT/PJBB junction box, and four self-drill screws.
Converting to direct spark requires removing the pilot burner, pilot valve, and related gas tubing, then mounting the new control box and electrode per the installation sheet. Shut off the gas supply and disconnect power to the heater before starting. Have a qualified technician confirm the spark gap, wiring, and burner operation once the conversion is complete.
