Product Overview
The FA Series is a gas-fired, separated-combustion, induced-draft unit heater from Re-Verber-Ray, built for commercial, industrial, and agricultural buildings. It ships as separated combustion out of the box and converts to power-vented in the field with no additional parts required. The exterior is a durable, powder-coated black enamel finish with stainless steel louvers and incrementally adjustable winglets, and select models are available in stainless steel. Nine sizes cover the line, from the FA-100N (100 MBH) up to the FA-400N (400 MBH), each running on natural gas or propane. Every FA Series heater uses a swept-wing impeller with finger-proof fan guards for quiet operation, plus operational indicator lights that make troubleshooting straightforward for the installer or service tech.
Input ratings run 100,000-250,000 BTU/h on the base models, with higher-output sizes extending to 400,000 BTU/h. Units run on natural gas or propane, on 120V/60Hz primary power with a 24VAC thermostatic circuit, single phase, and vent lengths from 3 to 40 ft. Average air temperature rise is rated at 50 degrees F.
Sizing runs from the FA-100N, at 40 in. wide by 20 in. deep by 21 in. high with a 4 in. vent, up to the FA-400N at 54 in. wide by 20 in. deep by 44 in. high with a 6 in. vent. Larger models in the line step up in cabinet height and vent diameter as BTU output climbs, so match the model to the space and heat load rather than picking on price alone; call for help sizing a specific building. Each model has a matching liquid propane conversion kit (for example CKP-53-4 for the FA-100N) for sites running on LP instead of natural gas.
As with any gas-fired appliance, installation and service should follow the FA Series Installation, Operation, Parts and Maintenance Manual, be performed by a qualified technician, and any gas-path work should be done with the gas supply shut off and power disconnected until the unit is verified safe to run. The FA Series carries a 1-year warranty on components, 5 years on the heat exchanger, and 10 years on the burner(s), and is certified to ANSI Z83.8/CSA 2.6 for indoor commercial and industrial use. Full installation and specification documentation is available from Indiana Radiant; call with your building size and venting run for sizing help before you order.
