Product Overview
The DSRL Series is Re-Verber-Ray's decorative, two-stage low intensity tube heater built specifically for outdoor use. Each unit ships as a complete unvented heater assembly with a modular grille housing designed to look at home on a restaurant patio, clubhouse deck, or driving range tee line.
The DSRL runs on patented two-stage burner control, stepping between a lower-fire and high-fire output rather than firing at one fixed rate. Output ranges from 65 MBH high fire / 50 MBH low fire on the shortest unit up to 100 MBH high fire / 65 MBH low fire on the largest. Pre- and post-purge controls and self-diagnostic, microprocessor-based LED circuitry come standard across the line for reliable ignition and easier field troubleshooting. Sized correctly, one DSRL heater covers up to a 12' x 26' outdoor area.
The line is available in three BTU sizes to match different space sizes: overall lengths run 16'4" on the two smaller sizes and 21'10" on the largest. The choice between the 65, 80, and 100 MBH models comes down to how much of that footprint needs consistent heat and how cold the climate runs. The 100 MBH unit's longer 21'10" span suits larger, more open patios and tee boxes, while the 65 and 80 MBH units suit tighter, more sheltered spaces.
DSRL heaters are rated for unvented operation only and install per the manufacturer's clearance and mounting requirements in the installation manual. Installation and gas connection should be handled by a qualified technician: shut off the gas supply before servicing, disconnect power before any wiring work, and verify clearances and operation against the installation sheet before putting the unit into service.
