TP-17 Sight Glass Kit

The TP-17 Sight Glass Kit is a burner view-port service kit for Re-Verber-Ray low-intensity infrared tube heaters. The sight glass gives a heat-rated mica view port into the burner head housing, letting a technician check flame presence and character during commissioning, annual service, and troubleshooting without pulling the burner apart or shutting the unit down for a teardown. A cracked, discolored, or sooted glass blocks the flame view and should be replaced at the next service interval. Re-Verber-Ray also catalogs this kit under alternate part number 24KT02.

The kit ships as a full mica assembly: heat-resistant mica window, retaining washer, mounting screws, and combustion-chamber gasket.

Before replacing the sight glass, shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power to the heater, and let the burner assembly cool completely. Confirm the kit contents match the burner housing before disassembly, then have a qualified HVAC/R technician verify flame appearance and proper operation after reinstallation.
