The TP-55 is the Old Style Fan Blower assembly for Re-Verber-Ray DTH and DTHS tube heaters. As the fan blower, it moves combustion air through the burner and radiant tube during operation, supplying the airflow the burner control needs to fire and run properly. It is a 120V assembly built around the strip-type wheel that has been standard on this blower since the original DTH/DTHS design.
Fits the Re-Verber-Ray DTH and DTHS tube heater series; see the Fitment section below for full model coverage. It is a distinct part from the TP-55A inducer fan used on later series, and Re-Verber-Ray states the TP-55A cannot substitute for this part.
The current replacement unit ships with the 7021-6745 motor, housing, and original strip-type wheel to restore the unit to original operation.
Confirm the heater's fan blower is the old-style TP-55 and not the newer TP-55A before ordering, since the two are not interchangeable. Before replacing it, shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power to the heater, then confirm wiring and mounting against the unit's installation manual once the new blower is in place. This is a gas-appliance component, so replacement should be performed by a qualified heating technician who verifies proper operation before returning the unit to service.
