Product Overview
The TP-55A is a complete fan/blower (inducer) assembly rated 1/20 hp, 120V, for Re-Verber-Ray tube heaters, also cataloged under alternate numbers 3326758 and 1FYA9. It uses the same motor as the standard TP-55 but pairs it with a different, Fergas-type wheel for higher efficiency; the two parts are physically similar but not a drop-in swap for each other. In the heater, the inducer fan pushes combustion air through the burner, maintaining the draft the ignition and flame-sensing controls depend on to run safely. A failed or weak inducer typically shows up as ignition lockouts, pressure switch faults, or the burner failing to start.

Confirm the heater's existing inducer is the TP-55A and not the standard TP-55 before ordering, since the wheel difference means the TP-55 cannot substitute for this part. Before replacing it, shut off the gas supply, disconnect power to the heater, and verify wiring and mounting against the unit's installation manual. Have a qualified technician confirm draft and ignition operation after the swap.
