Product Overview
The TP-828 is a 24V yellow (amber) indicator light used on Re-Verber-Ray tube heaters to show operating status on the control panel. It illuminates when its connected circuit is energized, giving a quick visual check of a specific function on the control panel, such as call-for-heat or high-fire status, depending on which indicator position it fills. It runs on the heater's low-voltage 24V circuit and does not switch or control gas; it is a status indicator only.
It is the direct replacement for the factory-installed indicator on the covered series and fits the CL3, DSRL, DSRS, DST, HL, HL2, HL3, HLV, LD, LD3, LS, LS3, MP, QTD, QTS, and SV tube heater series; see the Fitment section below for the full model list.
It ships as a single light assembly, ready to wire into the existing harness.
Replacing this part is a simple swap once the position and lead connections are confirmed against the existing light. Before servicing: shut off the gas supply, disconnect power to the unit, and verify the indicator's position and wiring against your heater's installation manual. Have a qualified technician confirm proper operation after the light is installed.
