Product Overview
The Re-Verber-Ray TP-260F is a normally closed (N.C.) exhaust pressure switch for low-intensity tube heaters equipped with dual pressure switches. It is also catalogued under IS22062052F5176 and FS6628-1654; no independent OEM datasheet was located for TP-260F under a third-party manufacturer reference, and FS6628-1654 may represent a supplier cross-reference not confirmed to a named OEM maker, so confirm electrical ratings against the Re-Verber-Ray installation sheet before substituting a generic switch. The switch monitors the pressure differential in the heater's exhaust path. On dual-switch models this N.C. switch proves that the exhaust inducer is pulling adequate draft before the ignition sequence is allowed to proceed; if the switch does not close, or fails to open on fault, the control board locks out to prevent unvented combustion products from entering the building.
It fits the HL, HL2, DX, DX2, and XTS series at 50,000 to 150,000 BTU, and is also listed in the LD3 and LS3 series parts charts for 50 MBH models; see the Fitment panel for the full model and BTU breakdown. It is a direct factory replacement for the TP-60F (PPS10070-2553), the original exhaust switch used on dual-switch models manufactured prior to June 2003.
The kit ships with the switch (IS22062052F5176), a 20-inch vinyl sensing tube, and an insect-resistant brass barb.
Before replacing the switch, shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power to the heater. Installation must be performed by a qualified service technician. Verify wiring polarity at the COM and N.C. terminals and confirm the vinyl sensing tube has a smooth radius with no kinks or obstructions.
