TP-60C Normally Closed Exhaust Pressure Switch

The TP-60C is a normally closed exhaust pressure switch kit, FS6628-1172, also listed as alt part 2148765, built for Re-Verber-Ray tube heaters at 100,000 BTU and below. The switch mounts to the center divide panel and monitors exhaust draft off the combustion blower. The aluminum pick up tube connects to the positive terminal and sits in the fan outlet, pointing toward the squirrel cage; the vinyl tube runs to the negative brass barb open to atmosphere. The pressure differential the switch reads confirms the blower is moving exhaust before the control allows the heater to fire.

Fits Re-Verber-Ray DTHS(-2) tube heaters, 40,000 to 100,000 BTU/H; see Fitment below for the full model list. It is a direct replacement for the TP-60A.

The kit ships complete: the switch itself, a vinyl sensing tube, an aluminum pick up tube, and an insect resistant brass barb.

Replacing this part: disconnect electrical supply to the heater before removing the faulty switch. Connect the aluminum pick up tube to the positive terminal and the vinyl tube to the negative barb, then reinstall through the two top bracket holes so the pick up tube sits correctly in the fan outlet. Check the vinyl tube for a smooth bend with no kinks or obstructions before reconnecting the spade terminals to COM and N.C.
