TP-260G Normally Closed Exhaust Pressure Switch

The Re-Verber-Ray TP-260G is a normally closed exhaust pressure switch for dual-switch tube heater configurations. It monitors exhaust gas pressure in the heat exchanger tube; being normally closed, it holds the control circuit closed under normal exhaust conditions. If exhaust pressure deviates from the expected range, indicating a blocked flue, inducer fault, or combustion gas restriction, the switch opens the circuit and shuts down the burner, preventing unsafe operation.

It is a direct factory substitute for TP-60G (PPS-10070-2554). No external OEM cross-reference (Honeywell, Cleveland Controls, or equivalent) was identified in available sources; IS22062052F5175 is a Detroit Radiant Products internal assembly number for this switch, not a third-party equivalent. Fits HL, HL-2, DX, DX-2, and XTS tube heaters rated 175,000 to 200,000 BTU/H, manufactured prior to June 2003 with dual pressure switch configurations. See Fitment for the complete model list. Each kit ships with the switch assembly (Detroit Radiant internal number IS22062052F5175), one 20-inch vinyl sensing tube, and one insect-resistant brass barb. It carries a 90-day warranty.

Shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power before beginning work. Installation must be performed by a qualified service technician; improper installation can cause property damage, injury, or death. Connect the negative (-) barb to the vinyl tube routed to the atmospheric brass barb, and the positive (+) barb to the exhaust-side tube. Ensure tubing runs with a smooth radius and no kinks before reconnecting the spade terminals to COM and N.C. Verify correct operation before returning the heater to service.
